The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a kidnapping incident that occurred at a Walmart in Orlando on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies responded to the Walmart located at 2271 N Semoran Boulevard at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, after receiving reports of a kidnapping, according to OCSO.
The sheriff’s office stated that a suspect had followed the kidnapping victims into the Walmart. The suspect then fired a gun before leading the victims to a vehicle outside the business and fleeing from the area.
In an update on Saturday night, OCSO said that the victims have been located and are safe.
There were no injuries reports.
OCSO added that the investigation into the kidnapping remains “active and ongoing.” No further details were provided regarding the incident or suspect involved.
