Ricardo Loranca, 76, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025.
A proud United States Air Force veteran and devoted family man, Ricardo was known for his generous heart, sharp wit, and deep love for fishing, storytelling, and time spent with loved one’s especially his grandchildren, Anthony and Ava.
Born in 1949, Ricardo served honorably in the U.S. Air Force and lived a life rooted in hard work, humor, and quiet strength. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his brother, Roberto and Roberto’s husband, Jim. His children and their spouses, Tanya and Jon, Danny, and Richard Jr. and Alisha; and two grandchildren, Anthony and Ava, all of whom brought him endless pride and joy.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 5.m. to 8 p.m. at A Community Funeral Home & Sunset Cremations in Orlando, Florida.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will follow on Friday, May 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located 1501 North Alafaya Trail, Orlando, Florida 32828.
Interment with Military Honors will take place Tuesday, May 27, at 10 a.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Ricardo’s memory by Eating dessert first, casting a fishing line or raising a glass in his name- just as he would have wanted. All are welcomed to celebrate his life.
