A skydiving accident at a charity event in Brevard County claimed the life of a 58-year-old Georgia man on Saturday.
The man was skydiving when he made a hard landing behind the Crowne Plaza Melbourne-Oceanfront (2605 N Hwy A1A in Melbourne) at around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
