The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has identified a woman who was shot and killed in Orlando early Saturday morning.
Latoysia Denisha Davis, 34, was fatally shot in the 700 block of 20th Street on Saturday, August 9, according to OCSO.
The sheriff’s office stated that deputies responded to the area at around 2 a.m. after receiving reports of an aggravated battery incident.
Upon arrival, the deputies found Davis and observed that she had sustained “obvious signs of trauma.” She was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
“This incident is being investigated as a homicide,” said OCSO in a media release on Saturday morning. “Our detectives are actively investigating this case.”
No further details were provided by law enforcement regarding the deadly shooting or any potential suspect(s).
