A traffic stop in Orlando led to the arrest of a 48-year-old woman after large quantities of fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine were allegedly found in her vehicle.
On Sunday, September 21, Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies were on patrol in the 6100 block of South Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. When deputies approached the driver, identified as Jacqueline Portalatingarcia, they “observed drug paraphernalia in plain view” inside the vehicle, according to OCSO.

Deputies detained Portalatingarcia and searched the interior of her vehicle. During that search, the following items were allegedly found:
- 28.35 grams of fentanyl.
- 75.9 grams of heroin.
- 56.2 grams of cocaine.
- Two firearms: a Springfield .45 caliber handgun and FN 9mm handgun.
- A Hazmat suit with a respirator.
- Two cellphones.
A church and school are both located within 1,000 feet of where the traffic stop was conducted.
Portalatingarcia was placed under arrest and booked into Orange County Jail, where she is currently being held without bond.
Jail records show that Portalatingarcia is facing a slew of charges that include trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine with a firearm, trafficking in heroin with a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of heroin with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a place of worship, possession of heroin with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a place of worship, and possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school.
“Great work by our deputies in getting these dangerous drugs and firearms off the street,” said OCSO in a social media post.
