The United Football League (UFL) announced this week that a new team is coming to Orlando.

On Tuesday, UFL stated that three new franchises are set to debut in the spring of 2026 when the league kicks off its third season: the Orlando Storm, Columbus Aviators, and Louisville Kings. These new teams will replace the Memphis Showboats, Michigan Panthers, and San Antonio Brahmas, which competed in the league’s first two seasons.

The Storm will play its home games at Inter&Co Stadium (655 W Church Street in Orlando), which is also home to the Orlando City Soccer Club (Major League Soccer) and Orlando Pride (National Women’s Soccer League).

According to UFL, the league’s upcoming 43-game season will begin on Friday, March 27, 2026. The full schedule will be unveiled at a later date.

A total of eight teams will compete in the UFL, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs at the conclusion of the regular season. The teams will no longer be divided into two conferences.

“2026 will mark a new chapter for spring football in Central Florida,” reads a statement from the Storm on its website. “Get ready, Orlando — we’re bringing more flair, more energy, and a whole lot more fun.”
