The DeLand Police Department has launched an investigation after two dead bodies were found inside a local residence.
At around 11:05 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, DPD officers responded to a home located on Cape Cod Road in DeLand after receiving “reports of a cardiac arrest,” according to police.
When officers arrived on-scene, they were informed that two unresponsive individuals, later identified as 49-year-old Scott Waldron and 47-year-old Padmini Waldron, had been found inside the home.
Officers entered the home and observed that the two individuals, Scott and Padmini Waldron, were deceased.
The DPD Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating the two deaths.
“Additional details will be released as they become available,” said DeLand police in a media release.
