Marion Yvonne Johnson of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on November 19, 2025. She as born on March 14, 1939, in Arlington, Virginia.
She graduated from Edgewater High School and then attended Trinity Bible College. Here she met Richard A. Johnson and they were married on December 19, 1959. She served as a pastor’s wife at Raymond Baptist Church in Raymond, New Hampshire. They had three children. In 1981 the family relocated to St. Cloud , Florida, for about 4 years.
They relocated again to Ellsworth, Maine, where once again she served as a pastors wife at Ellsworth Baptist Church. Then she came back to Florida with her husband to Kissimmee and served at North Kissimmee Baptist Church. Along side of her husband they started North Kissimmee Christian School. She served as a pastor’s wife, teacher and principal over the last 30 plus years.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Richard A Johnson, parents Robert and Janet Rhodes, sisters Carolyn Jackson and Roberta
Surviving children Marion Kapelet of Jasper Ga, Deborah English of Kissimmee and Richard Johnson of Kissimmee. She has 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She always opened her heart and home to several other children including Mary Riccipi of New Hampshire and Stanley Lewis of Florida. She lived her life loving her family, people, the church and school but mostly Jesus.
