It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Pearl Charles. Pearl, aka Oma or Irma, was born on October 19, 1954 in Mount Lambert, Trinidad.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, sister, and aunt. She took great pride in feeding everyone; her kitchen was the undisputed heart of our home. She especially enjoyed baking cakes for birthdays and holidays. A true matriarch, Pearl was the pillar, the rock, and the glue that kept us together.
For over 25 years Pearl worked as a registered nurse at numerous nursing homes and hospitals. She had such a compassion helping those in need. She knew how to cheer up her patients and was loved by everyone that came in contact with her.
Pearl cherished moments spent with a good glass of wine and snacking on something sweet. She had a passion for travel, exploring new places and creating lasting memories along the way.
Pearl leaves behind her loving husband Neil; children Sterlin and Sasha; grandchildren Devin, Nicklas, Terrence Jr., Isaiah, Trevian, Ethan, Aidan, and Jasmine; sister Merlin; brothers Clydee, Lincoln, Steven, and Darryl; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Pearl will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy, strength, enthusiasm, and unwavering support for those she loved will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family would like to extend an invitation to join them for lunch and refreshments after the service at Pearl’s home – 625 Bridgeway Blvd. Orlando, FL. 32828.
