Amada Matos, 79, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on February 27, 2026.

She was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on November 22, 1946.
She married Nelson Matos.

Amada worked for the School District in the cafeteria.

She was a member of La Ultima Cosecha (Pastor Jaime Santiago) and had a passion for reading, flowers, church actives, loved children and often babysat them.

Amada is survived by her children, Victor Manuel Acosta, Blanca Iris Vizcarrondo, Hector Luis Acosta and Maria Lusia Somerlot; her grandchildren, Kristina I. Acosta, Jonathan L. Acosta, Nathan A. Vizcarrondo, Jessic I. Vizcarrondo, Alexis M. Coffey and Cynthia L. Lake and her great granddaughter, Maelynn Hope Coffey;

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Matos.

Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on March 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on March 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A Committal Service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on March 21, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
