Lucette was a beloved mother, sister, family member, friend, and a deeply cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her. She was loved for her strength, her heart, her humor, and the way she cared for the people closest to her. Her life was marked by devotion to her family, resilience through difficult times, and a love that will continue to be felt long after her passing.
She is survived by her children, Jesse Nelson and Steven Nelson; her sister, Huguette Dawe; her brother, Clifford Knight; her grandson Tori Lee Nelson Linklater; and her daughter-in-law, Laura Nelson, along with extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
Her memory will live on through the stories shared, the lessons she gave, and the love she poured into those around her.
Lucette’s family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
