Diana Gail Williams, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, in Fort Worth. She was born on July 29, 1946, in Orlando, Florida to Samuel and Pearl Hughes.
Kitty, as she was affectionately known was a member of the Granbury Baptist Church where she considered herself very blessed to operate and oversee the Deaf Ministry at the church. Her first job was with Granbury Medical Clinic, then with Happy Hills Farms and later retired from Tri-County Electric. Kitty loved and was loved by her family dearly and she loved church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Pearl Hughes; her loving husband of (50) years, James H. Williams; four siblings, Ronnie, Jerry, Bonni, and Sherri.
Gail is survived by her two sons, Artie S. Williams and wife Janice and their children Jeffrey M. Williams and Nathan S. Williams and Nathan’s children Messalina and McKinley ; son James Michael Williams and wife Samantha and their children Kristopher Williams and Bailey Williams; she is also survived by her sisters, Patricia Ferguson, and Pam Hughes and a brother, Bill Hughes and wife Kathy.
A viewing and visitation will be held from 10am. to 12pm. on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, at the Granbury Baptist Church.
Funeral services will follow at 1pm. Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Granbury Baptist Church, 1200 Weatherford Hwy. Granbury, Texas 76048. Burial will follow at Pilot Knob Cemetery in Stephenville, TX. for her family and the Deaf Ministry Group.
