Michael J. Cote, 75, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026.

Michael was a proud National Guard veteran, devoted husband, loving father, brother, and friend. He was known for his strength, loyalty, and dedication to his family. Throughout his life, he valued hard work, service, and the relationships he built with those around him. His family was his greatest source of pride, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and cherished memories.

Michael dedicated much of his professional life to the retail industry, where he worked for JCPenney and served as a General Manager. He took pride in his work, valued the relationships he built throughout his career, and was respected by colleagues and employees alike. Following many years of service, he retired and enjoyed spending time with his family. A proud graduate of the University of South Florida, Michael believed in the value of hard work, dedication, and lifelong learning, principles that guided him throughout his career.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel Cote and Barbara Cote Clapp.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Indrah Cote; his children, Michelle Cote and Michael Cote Jr.; his brother, George and Susan Cote; his sister, Candace Cote, Trisha Rensberger; his sister, Sherry Cote and Tom; his brothers-in-law, Wendell Rodriguez, Irson Rodriguez and Enid Lugo- Rodriguez; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Those who knew Michael will remember his unwavering devotion to his family, his quiet strength, and his generous spirit. He touched the lives of many through his friendship, kindness, and willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A private cremation will be held in accordance with his wishes.

May he rest in eternal peace.
