With profound sadness and unwavering faith in God’s promises, we celebrate the life and legacy of Lesly Guilbaud, who entered into the presence of the Lord on May 23, 2026, at the age of 66.
Born on August 30, 1959, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Lesly’s life was a testament to perseverance, resilience, and devotion. Through every season of life, he carried himself with strength and determination, overcoming challenges with a steadfast spirit and an enduring commitment to those he loved.
A devoted husband, father, and friend, Lesly believed that love was best demonstrated through actions. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, support those around him, and create opportunities for others. While he may not have always expressed his feelings through words, those who knew him best recognized the depth of his love in the sacrifices he made, the responsibilities he carried, and the countless ways he showed up for the people who mattered most.
As a realtor, Lesly found joy in helping families find a place to call home. He valued serving others and took pride in building relationships throughout the community. His willingness to help, encourage, and guide others left a lasting impact on many lives.
Outside of work, Lesly enjoyed sports, music, and gathering with family and friends. He appreciated life’s simple moments and found happiness in bringing people together. His sense of humor, strong spirit, and generous heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all, Lesly cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 39 years, Marie Marthe Guilbaud; his daughters, Rebecca Guilbaud and Marthe Guilbaud; his cherished grand-dog, Nala; along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will continue to honor his memory and carry forward his legacy.
Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we find peace in knowing that his faith has become sight. As believers, we hold firmly to God’s promise that death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life through Christ. While we will miss his presence deeply, we rejoice in knowing that he is now free from pain and resting in the loving arms of his Savior.
Lesly’s life reminds us that a legacy is not measured by possessions or accomplishments, but by the lives touched, the love given, and the faith carried through life’s journey. His strength, dedication, and quiet acts of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
Until we meet again, you will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
