Three people were arrested and over 30 citations were issued after the Orlando Police Department joined forces with local agencies for a high-visibility DUI crackdown.
On Sunday, July 5, OPD stated on social media that the “Mutual Aid DUI Operation” involved 10 different law enforcement agencies and nearly 100 police officers across Orange County.

During the countywide initiative, Orlando officers reportedly conducted proactive patrols, recovered illegal drugs, and responded to a traffic crash that ultimately resulted in a DUI arrest.

In total, OPD reported that its officers made contact with 78 individuals during the multi-agency operation, resulting in 31 citations being issued. In addition, three individuals were arrested on DUI charges, along with one felony arrest and one misdemeanor arrest.

“These outcomes highlight (our) ongoing commitment to proactive enforcement and holding impaired drivers accountable for their actions,” said the Orlando Police Department.
