Derrick Andrew Notice, 34, passed away unexpectedly and went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2026, leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply.\

A devoted son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, fraternity brother, and proud military servicemember, Derrick lived his life with strength, loyalty, and compassion, touching the lives of all who knew him. Known for his generous heart, infectious smile, and unwavering commitment to others, he brought warmth, laughter, and encouragement wherever he went.

Derrick had a deep love for adventure and was rarely still for long. Whether exploring new places, pursuing new experiences, or simply embarking on his next journey, he embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. His presence was a source of comfort and strength to his family, friends, coworkers, and fellow servicemembers.

He is survived by his loving parents, Paul Notice and Lorraine Monroe Notice of Apopka, Florida; his brothers, Shane Notice of Sanford, Florida, and Wayne Notice of Altamonte Springs, Florida; his paternal grandfather, Raymoth Notice, Sr. of Jamaica; and his step-grandmother, Normaline Monroe of Clermont, Florida. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, cherished friends, and his beloved cat, Sukima. Derrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marjorie Queeyou of Apopka, Florida; his maternal grandfather, Henry Monroe of Orlando, Florida; and his paternal grandmother, Gloria Pansy Notice of Jamaica.

Though his time on earth was far too short, Derrick’s legacy of service, friendship, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated.
