Walk to Defeat ALS returns to Lake Eola Park

The Walk to Defeat ALS will return to Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando this weekend.

The 2023 Walk to Defeat ALS will take place on Saturday, March 18. Registration for the event opens at 8 a.m. at Lake Eola Park, which is located at 512 East Washington Street.

The opening ceremony for the walk will be held at 10 a.m., with the walk scheduled to begin at 10:20 a.m. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., World of Beer (431 E Central Boulevard) will host a post-walk celebration, with 20% of the proceeds donated back to the walk.

The walk is just under 2 miles, with participants taking two laps around Lake Eola.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local residents suffering from ALS and their families, according to event organizers.
