Melody Anne Blunk

Melody Anne Blunk, 69, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
Melody was born on September 26th in 1953 to Mildred and Albert Blunk in the great state of Illinois. After a joyful childhood growing up with her two sisters, Mary and Bonnie, Melody headed to the sunny state of Florida as a young adult.

In March of 1981, Melody celebrated the birth of her son, Tim. Tim was Melody’s pride and joy. As Tim began to grow, Melody was always was his biggest fan and supporter in all of his adventures in school, the arts, and beyond.

In addition to being a dedicated mother, in 1985 Melody joined the ranks of royalty at Medieval Times. Her career with them spanned more than 35 years and she was a pivotal player in the success of this incredibly popular hospitality destination in Central Florida.

Melody found joy in spending time with her family, her loved ones including the McWhorter’s and the Froehlich’s, sewing and always being on the hunt for that perfect antique to add to her collection.

Melody is survived and celebrated by her son Tim, his husband Mike, sister Bonnie, sister Mary and her children Michael and Michelle, their spouses Ashley and Jeremy, and grand nephews and niece Connor, Cole, and Chloe.

A celebration of Melody’s life will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home with a service on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10am.
