Orange County officials are asking the public to share photos of local wildlife to take part in a friendly, global competition.
The City Nature Challenge 2023 takes place from April 28 to May 1, 2023. Any photos taken in Orange County of birds, plants, insects, fungi, and wildlife species may be submitted to participate in the competition.
Those interested in participating are asked to download the iNaturalist app and sign up for an account. After signing up, find and join the project named CITY NATURE CHALLENGE 2023: ORANGE COUNTY.
From April 28 to May 1, use your account and the app to take pictures of wildlife in parks and greenspaces around the area.
