Sanford airline offering new direct service to North Dakota

An airline at the Orlando Sanford International Airport will begin offering a new, direct service to North Dakota.

On Tuesday, Allegiant announced six new routes from various airports, including one between SFB and Minot International Airport in Minot, North Dakota.

The service begins November 17, 2023, with one-way fares as low as $70.

“We continue to see historically high demand from leisure travelers, so we are thrilled to add these routes to our network and build on the success we’ve had in these markets,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president and chief revenue officer.

Other fares include a new route to Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and two routes between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Nashville International Airport and Eastern Iowa Airport.

“As travelers look for warm winter getaways and a chance to connect with family and friends, we know they will appreciate the low-cost, nonstop options offered by Allegiant,” said Wells.
