Disney Annual Passholders will have the opportunity to preview a new, Moana-inspired attraction at EPCOT later this month.
Walt Disney World announced this week that Annual Passholders may attend a “special preview” for Journey of Water, a new attraction inspired by the feature film Moana.
The preview will feature a walk along a “lush exploration trail where” guests can “connect with water and discover its magical personality.”
Preview dates will take place at EPCOT from park open to park close from September 24 to September 29, and from October 1 to October 4, 2023, according to the company.
Although registration is not required to participate in the preview, Passholders must have a theme park reservation for EPCOT on the day of the preview.
The theme park recently released a brief video of its cast members touring Journey of Water.
When it opens later this year, the new attraction will take visitors along a self-guided tour to interact with water as it “travels from the sky to the oceans and back again.”
The ride features waterfalls, spouts, and other water formations, some of which may be interacted with by visitors.
Earlier this year, Imagineers announced the addition of Te Fiti, the larger-than-life character that anchors the new attraction.
Journey of Water will open within “World Nature,” a new EPCOT section dedicated to “understanding and preserving the beauty and balance of the natural world.”
