The Peace and Justice Institute and the Winter Park Library will host a celebration to commemorate the World Day of Peace this weekend.
The event will be on Saturday, September 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Winter Park Library (1052 West Morse Boulevard).
Festivities will encompass a day of free activities for all ages, including yoga, film screenings, children’s storytelling, a public art project, workshops on conflict, empathy, and peace, and the annual Human Peace Sign photograph.
