Polo Chicken Restaurant temporarily closed after failed health inspection

Polo Chicken Restaurant in west Orlando was temporarily closed last week after a food inspector found multiple health code violations.

According to a report from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the restaurant, which is located at 6218 W Colonial Drive (Suite 208), was closed on January 26 after a food health inspector found ten violations.

The only high priority violation was issued for time/temperature controlled issues after the inspector found tomatoes, lettuce, noodles, and coleslaw stored at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit.

The report notes nine other basic and intermediate violations, including no dishwashing facilities or handwash sink for employees.

The restaurant was permitted to reopen on January 28 after only six violations, including one high priority, were found by the FDPR health inspector.
