Suspect accused of exposing himself to multiple victims near McDonald’s, Target in Lake County

A 32-year-old man who has been arrested a half dozen times since last year was arrested again after he allegedly exposed himself in front of victims at three separate locations in Lake County.

Joshua Brown was arrested just after midnight on Thursday by Clermont Police Department Officers on multiple felony charges.

On Wednesday, witnesses contacted police to report that a white male subject had exposed himself in front of adult victims at three separate locations. All of the incidents took place within an hour, according to police.

Officers responded to the Target and McDonald’s establishments located along the 2600 block of State Road 50 and located a vehicle that matched the suspect’s description.

According to police, the suspect, who was later identified as Brown, fled by foot prior to the arrival of the officers.

Brown was eventually tracked down and was interviewed by police. During their interview, police found that Brown was in possession of “controlled substances.” No details were provided as to what substances were in Brown’s possession.

Brown, who is from Groveland, was taken into custody that evening. He is being charged with two counts of exposure of sexual organs, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and violation of probation.

Brown is currently being held at the Lake County Jail on $14,000 bond, according to court records.
