Spooky Empire horror convention returns to Orlando

The largest horror convention in the state of Florida will return to the Orlando area this weekend.

Spooky Empire takes place from Friday, June 17, from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 18 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, June 19 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wyndham Orlando Resort, which is located at 8001 International Drive.

The event features a large collection of vendors, film and tattoo artists, musicians, celebrity speakers, and a variety of events for horror enthusiasts, including a costume contest. Over 50 tattoo artists will attend the event as well.

Tickets for the event are $40 in advance or $45 at the door on Friday and Sunday, and $45 in advance or $55 at the door on Saturday. The cost to purchase Saturday and Sunday tickets together is $75 in advance and $80 at the door.
