Orlando man accused of stabbing victim over sale of puppy

A 28-year-old Orlando man is behind bars after he allegedly stabbed a victim over the sale of a puppy.

Orlando Police Department officers were called to the area of Pine Street and Orange Avenue on Saturday, January 20, in reference to a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located an individual with multiple wounds. That victim was taken to a local hospital and is now in stable condition, according to police.

According to police, the victim was arguing with the suspect, 28-year-old Jarmin McLemore, about the sale of a puppy.

No additional details were provided regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident.

McLemore is being charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm. He is currently incarcerated at the Orange County Jail.
