Electronic waste recycling available at Orlando Festival Park

The city of Orlando is offering residents the opportunity to recycle their electronic waste at Orlando Festival Park.

The city will host an electronic waste and textile recycling event on Saturday, February 19 at Orlando Festival Park, which is located at 2911 East Robinson Street.

Accepted electronics include computer monitors, televisions (one per household), telephones, cell phones, telephone systems, fax machines, central office eqiupment, rechargeable batteries, electronic circuit boards and components, stereo equipment, games, PDA’s, and printers, among others.

Accepted textiles include clothes, shoes, towels, sheets, curtains, and stuffed toys, among other items.

Businesses are welcome to join, but may not include more than a pick-up truck load, according to city officials. For larger quantities, contact A1 Assets Recycling directly at 407-339-7030. Year round collection is available.
