Universal Orlando parking garage evacuated after juvenile fight prompts police response

Orlando police say that no shots were fired in a juvenile fight that broke out at one of the parking garages at Universal Orlando this weekend.

On Saturday, July 23, Orlando Police Department officers responded to a fight among several juveniles that occurred in one of the parking garages at Universal Studios.

According to police, the parking garage, which is located at 6000 Universal Boulevard, was evacuated “out of an abundance of caution.”

Law enforcement authorities say that no shots were fired, no weapons were recovered, and no injuries were reported during the fight.

The scene created minor traffic delays and police say that items and personal belongings were left behind with Guest Services.

The incident took place a few hours after the Orange County Sheriff’s Office says that fireworks were behind rumors of shots fired at the Florida Mall.
