Mary Browning

Mary Browning, 66 of Orlando Fl. Passed away on September 4th, 2022, in the comfort of her home.

Cece was born in Elmira New York and made Orlando home in 1972 where she attended and graduated from Colonial High School. Cece stayed in the Orlando area where she married and had 5 girls, unfortunately her eldest passed away after birth. Cece worked for OCPS at Azalea Park Elementary for over 35 years and ended her career as Secretary/Bookkeeper. Mom had to retire earlier than she wanted to when diagnosed for the second time with metastatic breast cancer. Mom was never off duty from Azalea Park, that was her life, even at home that’s all we heard about, this broke her heart when she had to retire early. Mom was always there for her family especially her daughters and grandchildren. You could always find mom sitting on her front porch reading a book or talking on the phone, putting puzzles together and being with her family. Mom also enjoyed bowling in her earlier years and softball where she played coed for many years and then coaching from the stands. She is now coaching softball with Shannon in heaven.

She is survived by her daughters Louise Oquendo, Kristi Gay and husband Paul and Jaime Rolle. The father of her girls and ex-husband Howard Browning. Grandchildren Alexander Rodriguez, Alexis Lopez, Noel and Kiara Oquendo, Kendall and Caleb Gay, Adrian and Aundrea NeSmith, and K’mya and Kalaya Rolle. Many great grandchildren, her mother Sharon Roberts, sisters Tammy Thompson and Robin Zoetvelt. Many nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her daughters Maradith and Shannon Browning and brother Kim Roberts.
