Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ working on second Orlando location

A restaurant that specializes in Japanese barbecue is currently building out its second Orlando location.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is making quick progress on its new location at 140 Sugar Belle Drive, in Disney’s Flamingo Crossings Village.

Known for its barbecue, Gyu-Kaku offers premium all-you-can-eat options that allow diners to try dozens of items, including an extensive list of sides and a wide variety of proteins.

Those include toro beef, yaki-shabu beef, umakara ribeye, angus beef ribs, New York strip, harami skirt steak, and beef tongue, among many others.

In addition to the all-you-can-eat options, the restaurant offers all of its dishes and small plates in á la carte varieties.

Founded in 1996, Gyu-Kaku currently operates over 700 locations worldwide. The Flamingo Crossings location will join three other restaurants in the Sunshine State, including one in Orlando at 7858 Turkey Lake Road, and two others in Miami. In total, the business currently operates more than 70 locations across the United States.
