Patricia M Gunnoe

Patricia Marlene Gunnoe, 85, entered into eternal life on October 13, 2022.

Born May 23, 1937, in Huntington, West Virginia, Marlene graduated from Reynoldsburg High School, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She relocated to Florida and began a long career with a defense contractor and was proud of her involvement in the Gemini and Apollo moon programs.

Marlene loved theater, both on and off Broadway, as well as local plays and musical productions by friends, old and young. She was an amazing seamstress and enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes. She had a deep, everlasting love for animals and was an ardent supporter of several no-kill shelters and humane societies. She also supported, without fail, several veteran causes, namely Wounded Warrior Project and Paralyzed Veterans of America.

Marlene was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and Center Pointe Community Church of the Nazarene.

She was predeceased by her parents, four siblings, and her one and only son. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and one granddaughter.

Special recognition to her lifelong friends, Billie B. of Westerville, Ohio, and Bob M., Columbus, Ohio. Many heartfelt thanks and gratitude to her longtime, steadfast and devoted friends until the very end, George and LeJeune, and Vicki, Jeff, Kyle, Lexie, and Andrew. She loved you all.
