OCSO celebrating addition of new mobile video game theater

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will celebrate the addition of a new mobile video game theater this weekend.

The sheriff’s office will kickoff its new theater on Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the OCSO Central Operations Center parking lot (2500 West Colonial Drive).

The state-of-the-art trailer features nearly a dozen screens and can support up to 44 players at a time. The gaming systems include a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and virtual reality, as well as a variety of the most recently released games, including NBA 2K 22, Madden NFL 22, FIFA 22, Minecraft, Super Smash Bros., and others.

Saturday’s event will feature food from Mission BBQ, prizes, music, and a free competition for those in attendance.
