A 42-year-old Orlando man claimed a $2 million prize from a Florida Lottery scratch-off that he purchased earlier this year.
Julio Gonzalez claimed the $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH scratch-off game at lottery headquarters in Tallahassee, according to a press release from the Florida Lottery.
Gonzalez chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,780,000. Gonzalez purchased his winning ticket from the Circle K gas station located at 10030 University Boulevard in Orlando.
The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket. The $10 game, 100X THE CASH, launched in January and features more than $337.9 million in cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $2,000,000.
