Police are looking for information on a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 48-year-old Osteen man on Sunday morning.
The man’s body was discovered lying in the road near the intersection of Lemon Bluff Road and State Road 415, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
A 58-year-old DeBary man driving a 2019 Ford Mustang discovered the man’s body after he swerved to avoid him in the roadway and partially ran him over.
Authorities believe the pedestrian was hit earlier in the morning by an unknown vehicle at an unknown time and was lying in the roadway as a result of that prior incident.
