Police say that they are looking for a full size pick-up truck or van that is connected to a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 42-year-old Osteen man on Sunday morning.
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was lying in the road near the intersection of Lemon Bluff Road and State Road 415, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. FHP says that he was hit and struck between the hours of 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.
A 58-year-old DeBary man driving a 2019 Ford Mustang discovered the man’s body after he swerved to avoid him in the roadway and partially ran him over.
FHP is asking anyone with information on the vehicle involved in the first incident to contact FHP at 407-737-2213 or CRIMELINE AT 1-800-423-TIPS.
