Multiple car washes are in various stages of construction across the Orlando area, following a national boom in the industry that has reverberated throughout the Sunshine State.
Among the many car washes slated to open in the region over the coming months are three Big Dan’s Car Wash locations on Orange Blossom Trail, Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, and John Young Parkway. Two of the locations are currently applying for permitting, and one is requesting bids from contractors. Each unit will occupy around 4,000 square feet and construction of the three locations is estimated to cost around $2.4 million.
Although Big Dan’s Car Wash is one of many new brands looking to break into the local market, established brands are also looking to increase their presence.
Mister Car Wash, which operates over a dozen and a half locations in and around the Orlando area, is slated to open at 3170 South John Young Parkway after construction is complete later this summer. The 5,280 square-foot facility cost approximately $1.9 million to construct.
Wash City Car Wash is nearing completion of two new locations on 4575 South Semoran Boulevard and 9190 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. The company currently operates seven other locations in Winter Garden, Oviedo, Lake Nona, Lake Wales, Avon Park, Apopka, and Orlando.
