Ceremony to honor memory of those lost in 2016 Pulse tragedy

The sixth annual remembrance ceremony to honor the 49 people killed in the 2016 Pulse nightclub tragedy will take place this weekend.

The ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 12 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pulse Interim Memorial, which is located at 1912 S Orange Ave in the South Downtown Orlando district.

The observance brings together the families of those whose lives were taken and provides a space to remember loved ones in peace. The ceremony will also honor those who survived, first responders, and trauma teams.
