Edgewater Police arrest man who fled scene of road rage incident after firing shots

Edgewater police located and arrested a man who was wanted for attacking a victim and firing shots during a road rage incident before fleeing the scene.

According to the Edgewater Police Department, James Seiler and Brittany K. Seiler were arrested this weekend after fleeing a disturbance the area of West Indian River Boulevard and Airpark Road on Friday, July 15.

During that incident, James Seiler allegedly struck the victim in the head with a blunt object before firing multiple rounds from a firearm.

No one was struck by the shots, and Seiler and a female accomplice, who was identified as Brittany K. Seiler, fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

James Seiler faces multiple charges, including aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a firearm.
