Silver alert for 77-year-old who went missing en route to Orlando home

UPDATE: Harris has been located and is safe as of Thursday afternoon.

A silver alert has been issued for a 77-year-old woman who went missing on Wednesday en route to her home in Orlando.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Jennifer Tuyet Harris was last seen driving her 2000 GMC Safari van in the area of Highway 27/Ernie Caldwell Boulevard in Davenport at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10.

Authorities say that Harris was driving home to Orlando and lost her way.

Harris stands 5’7″, weighs 100 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing dark, capri-style shorts, a black t-shirt, and sandals.

Police believe that Harris’ vehicle was possibly traveling in the area of Highway 17-92/Bates Road in Haines City at 5 p.m.
