A 40-year-old Winter Garden man who owned a cheerleading gym in Clermont, is accused of coercing his former child students into performing sex acts with him that he videoed.

Vigiland D’Haiti is facing multiple charges, including enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity, for sex crimes he allegedly committed that date back to 2014.

D’Haiti was arrested on March 27, 2022, at his home for lewd and lascivious molestation of minors. According to the indictment filed in the U.S. Middle District Court of Florida, authorities believe D’Haiti knowingly produced child abuse videos and images in June 2021, as well as seven years prior in July 2014.

From July 2014 through December 5, 2014, D’Haiti also allegedly persuaded, induced, enticed, and coerced another victim to engage in sexual activity.

As a result of D’Haiti’s arrest, authorities were able to seize his cellphone and, through a forensic analysis, discovered a “Private Photo Vault” application that was storing secure documents.

Inside the application, police found images and videos of children being sexually exploited, including images of minor victims who were students at the cheerleading gym owned by D’Haiti.

State records show that D’Haiti owned and operated the World Cheer Center, located at 345 Hatteras Avenue in Clermont, for over a decade.
