Sanford police looking for couple who stole crossbow and groceries, fled through fire exit at Walmart

The Sanford Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man and woman who stole nearly $900 in groceries and merchandise, including a crossbow, from a local Walmart.

According to SPD, the man and woman featured in this story were seen entering the Walmart at 3653 S. Orlando Drive in Sanford on August 19. While in the store, the couple selected numerous grocery items and a crossbow.

In total, the items were valued at approximately $855.20.

The couple exited the store through the emergency exit in the Garden Center, according to police.
