A buffet near International Drive was closed after a health inspector cited over two dozen code violations.
According to a report from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Asian Buffet, which is located at 6532 Carrier Drive in Dowdy Plaza, was forced to close its doors on Thursday, August 25, after an inspector found 26 violations.
Among the violations were four considered high priority, including the presence of roaches. During the inspection, multiple living and dead roaches were discovered throughout the restaurant.
The restaurant was permitted to reopen on Friday, August 26, despite eight violations remaining and a follow up inspection required.
