Carl Nimnicht Jr.

Carl Nimnicht Jr. was born on April 21, 1938. He lived a full, happy life.

Carl attended Boone High School where he was a fantastic football player and was known as Boone’s own “Mighty Mouse.” After high school, he attended Florida Southern College where he was a Sigma Chi. He went on to get his MBA from Northwestern.

Carl married Patricia Ausley on June 3, 1961. He worked as a banker for Suntrust Mortgage for 30 years. In 1990, he was awarded the Brown L. Whatley Award for performing outstanding service to the mortgage banking industry of Florida.

Carl and Patricia had two incredible kids, Mindy and Shane. In his free time, he loved to hunt and fish and watch Florida Gator football. Carl had a mean turkey call and we often joke, he could communicate with turkeys better than most people. Carl was an active member at First United Methodist Church and served as an usher for years.

Carl is survived by his wife Patricia, his daughter Mindy, and his grandkids, Kyle, Morgan, Cody, and Mckenna. He also has three nieces. His son, Shane, passed in 2017.
