31-year-old Orlando woman ejected, killed in accident on Colonial Drive

A 31-year-old Orlando woman was partially ejected from her vehicle after it overturned during an accident this weekend.

The incident took place on East Colonial Drive, just east of Cox Drive on Saturday, September 17, at around 8:33 p.m., according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

The woman was driving a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer eastbound on, when, for unknown reasons, she ran off the roadway and onto the south shoulder.

As a result, her vehicle began overturning and caused her to be partially ejected.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
