Albert Bogart, 84, peacefully passed away on October 16, 2022. Albert was born on May 27, 1938 in El Paso, Texas and raised close to Las Crusas, New Mexico.
After high school he relocated to Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Entomology. After many years of working in his field he opened up his business, “Bob’s Lawn Equipment” in Mt. Dora. In 1986 he married Linelle Champion. He also served many years on the city council. He never really retired, but continued to work in selling water lilies and koi fish, which he really enjoyed. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Linelle Bogart, granddaughter, Christina Champion Gonzalez, and three children, David, Mark, and Leslie Bogart. Burial will be on his family ranch in Texas.
