I Love NY Pizza temporarily closes after failed health inspection

A pizza, salad, and burger joint close to the Orlando International Airport was temporarily closed after a health inspector issued multiple stop sales on products and found roaches in parts of the restaurant.

I Love NY Pizza, Salad, Burger was forced to close its location at 6607 S Semoran Boulevard on Monday, October 24, after failing a health inspection conducted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

During the inspection, live roaches were discovered in a cooler, and a stop sale was issued for multiple items, including spaghetti and ricotta cheese. In both instances, the items were being held at temperatures higher than the allowed amount.

The business was permitted to reopen on Tuesday, October 18, after the inspector cited only 10 remaining violations.
