A 32-year-old Kissimmee man was killed after he was thrown from his motorcycle and struck by a tree in Orange County.
The fatal accident took place on Saturday, November 5, at approximately 7:48 a.m. near the intersection of Palm Parkway and Grapefruit Cove.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 32-year-old man was traveling southbound on Palm Parkway on a 2021 Honda CBR 1000 RR.
As the man was departing Grapefruit Cove in the outside travel lane, he failed to maintain control of his vehicle, causing the front of the vehicle to collide with a curb.
As a result, the vehicle ran off the roadway and began overturning. The man was thrown off the motorcycle and struck a tree. He was transported to the Dr. Phillips Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
