Dave’s Hot Chicken opens second Florida location in Altamonte Springs

A Nashville-style chicken restaurant has expanded its footprint in Central Florida with the opening of its second location.

Dave’s Hot Chicken opened its newest location at 155 Cranes Roost Boulevard in Altamonte Springs last week. The location joins one other at 557 N. Alafaya Trail as the only two that the business has opened in the state of Florida. That location, which is in the Waterford Lakes Town Center, opened in May 2022.

The restaurant’s menu showcases Nashville hot chicken in one of three tender or slider combinations. Tenders can be prepared at one of seven spice levels, ranging from no spice to reaper level heat.

In addition to tenders and sliders, Dave’s features a handful of specialty sides, including macaroni and cheese, kale slaw, and cheese fries, as well as three classic milkshake flavors.

The business currently operates dozens of restaurants all across the United States, including over 40 locations in the state of California.
