An Orlando teenager was killed after his Jeep left Lake Underhill Road and crashed into a fence and tree early this morning.

The fatal accident took place around 12:57 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, just east of Palmermo Avenue on Lake Underhill Road.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the 19-year-old Orlando man was driving a 2007 Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Lake Underhill Road. For unknown reasons, the driver lost control and ran off the left side of the raodway.

The Jeep traveled onto the north shoulder and collided with a street sign and fence. The collision caused the Jeep to rotate and overturn, before striking a tree and overturning upright.

The driver was transported to AdventHealth East Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
