Residents of Winter Park may dispose of their holiday boxes and gift wrapping paper at a communal dumpster being made available by city officials.
As in year’s past, the city is encouraging residents to avoid advertising the gifts that may be inside a home by displaying boxes at the end of a driveway.
As a safer alternative, residents may deposit all their cardboard boxes and any other paper products at a dumpster that is located at the intersection of N Virginia Avenue and W Swoope Avenue, right next to the Winter Park Police Department.
The dumpster will be available to the public until Tuesday, January 3, according to WPPD.
